John Derevlany

John Derevlany

John Derevlany is a writer, director, and performer best known for playing "Crackers the Corporate Crime Fighting Chicken" in Michael Moore's TV Nation. He also created the preschool dance and movement show Animal Jam for Jim Henson Productions and the Discovery Channel, wrote many episodes of cartoon The Angry Beavers, and co-founded the heavy-metal ukulele band [http://mycomputerhatesme.com/utup/index.htm Uke Til U Puke] . He most recently wrote and developed 26 episodes of Gerald McBoing Boing based on the 1951 cartoon by Dr. Seuss. [Gerald McBoing-Boing| [1] He is currently writing and story-editing a series based on the Wayside School books by Louis Sachar. The series will air on Nickelodeon and Teletoon in 2007.
