Cindy Ingram

Cindy Denise Ingram (born May 7, 1973), is an entrepreneur, nonprofit manager, community organizer and music industry professional in Eugene Oregon. Ingram was born in Dublin, California and graduated from Dublin High School.

Career

Ingram’s involvement in nonprofit management began at the age of 10 when she began volunteering for " [http://www.volunteermatch.org/search/org27244.jsp Kaleidoscope Activity Center] ", an after school program for developmentally and physically disabled youth. Ingram worked in social service field until 2005 when she received her B.Ed. in Family and Human Services from the University of Oregon.

In 2006 Ingram turned her hobby of helping her favorite local bands such as [http://www.silasband.com SILAS] and [http://www.myspace.com/thedeadamericans The Dead Americans] book shows and go on tour, into a full-time booking and promotions business. In 2008, [http://www.eugenemagazine.com Eugene Magazine] recognized Ingram as one of the top young entrepreneurs in Eugene1.

Ingram heads the eponymous [http://www.cindyingram.net Cindy Ingram Booking & Promotions LLC] . The company, created in 2006, contracts with venues, festivals, corporations, non-profit organizations and performers in the areas of event management, fundraising and promotions.

In 2006, Ingram created [http://www.grrrlzrock.com GRRRLZ ROCK!] and [http://www.myspace.com/kidzrockoregon KIDZ ROCK!] , two concert series events that feature women in the performing arts and kids in the arts respectively. The [http://www.grrrlzrock.com/grrrlzrock07 GRRRLZ ROCK! '07] events featured more than 50 acts and were created to encourage the community involvement of women and kids through musical education, skill development and expression.

* 2005-2007: Community Causeway, Sustainability Village, Festival Manager for the Eugene Celebration.

* 2007: Co-Founder, "Coordinator Music Industry Networking Event" (MINE).
