Venice, Florida on 6 September 1945) is a typeface designer andgraphic artist . He notably designed ITC Stone [4] withJohn Renner while working for Adobe. A better speciman of ITC Stone exists at his personal website. [5]Career
Stone studied at
Reed College , graduating with a degree insociology in1967 . [1] While at Reed, he tookcalligraphy lessons withLloyd Reynolds .Stone currently owns and runs the Stone Type Foundry in
