Andy Duncan (musician)

Andy Duncan is the former lead guitarist and founding member of the Chicago band OK Go. Wih the band he helped make their eponymous self-titled debut. In the fall of 2004 Duncan left the band due to complex issues. Since leaving the band he has made a successful music production company for multimedia called Box-Audio (Box-Audio.com) which has allowed him to create music in many other genres besides rock for TV and indie movies. Box-Audio.com has also created a space for him to experiment in sound design and audio branding.He also played bass on the Frodus album "Fireflies" released in 1995.

He studied classical guitar and music theory at Northwestern University, and graduated with a Degree in Academic Studies of Music in 1998. He studied under Prof. Amnon Wolman in composition, Prof. Candace Brower in music theory, and Prof. Gary Kendall in audio technology.

Andy Duncan's father, Dr. Jim Duncan, is a Mechanical Engineering professor at the University of Maryland.
