Tricky (character)

Tricky (1907) was born in Miami, Florida, and is the first born son to Johnathan Lane. He went to France to swindle rich French women. He went there, accompanied by Christopher Tracy ,his younger half-brother, who he survives. He is portrayed by American Time member , Jerome Benton .

Personality

Tricky, wasn't as flamboyant as Christopher. Instead, Tricky almost always looked out for him. However he is also stubborn and money greedy. He and Christopher hate to pay rent and are very immature. Tricky was smarter of the two, and always came up with bright simple solutions, whereas Christopher looked for trouble.

Romance

Tricky, unlike Christopher cares about the woman inside. He says he wants a "smart lover who really cares about him." However he later goes back and says, "I want a girl who's smart, a girl who can teach me things. I hate stupid women. You know why? You marry a stupid girl, you have stupid kids. You don't believe me? Follow a stupid kid home and see if somebody stupid don't answer the door". He also, doesn't care about the amount of money a woman has, differing from "Chris", who only gets with a woman for her money.

With Christopher

Though he is older, it is suggested Christopher was the favorite. Tricky sets this saying "Ya know Chris, YOU always get your way". Christopher stares at him glances away rolling his eyes, and turning back saying "And your point?". Tricky and Christopher always joke around. It is presented he cares about Christopher, and Christopher cares about him, not showing it, but Tricky knows. Tricky has a bigger heart than Christopher. He and Christopher poke fun at each other, and poke fun at other people, and have usual sibling bicker. The two leave Miami , together to go to France . After Christopher's tragic death, he goes to Miami to griev with family. Tricky's alias is "Chocolate", due to his complexion, as Christopher's is "Butterscotch". Tricky is fully African-American , as where Christopher, is a mulatto .
