Dabayin

Dabayin , also spelt Debayin or Depayin, is a town in the Sagaing Division in Myanmar (Burma) where the infamous Depayin Massacre took place on May 30, 2003, during a tour of the country by the opposition leader Aung San Suu Kyi . King Naungdawgyi (1760-1763), son of Alaungpaya and eldest brother of Hsinbyushin and Bodawpaya, was titled Prince of Dabayin ("Dabayin Min").
