Hawthorne (NYSW station)

Hawthorne is a rail station located in Hawthorne, New Jersey in Passaic County. Volunteer Railroaders Association, a non-profit railroad preservation group leases the station. The station is owned by the New York, Susquehanna & Western Railway. Station is a brown and cream colored single floor wooden structure at grade with local area. Formerly the station served as the commuter ticket office until 1966 and also used as the freight depot building. For almost 110 years the present station has been on this corner.
