Lillian O'Dell Smith Memorial Hall is a male dorm on the campus of Anderson University in Anderson, Indiana. The hall houses 205 men, approximately 60 percent freshman. Smith offers traditional two-person rooms and is on the east end of campus, near the O.C. Lewis Gymnasium and new Wellness Center.

History

Originally completed in 1964 the building was renovated in 2008. Smith Hall is the third oldest resident hall on campus. Smith Hall is named after the late, Lillian O’Dell Smith.

2008 renovations

Smith Hall received a much-anticipated renovation and upgrade in the summer of 2008 as a part of the "Dreams. Discovery. Direction." campaign of Anderson University. [cite web |url=http://www.anderson.edu/campaign/|title = "Dreams. Discovery. Direction."|accessdate=2008-10-07|format=html]

Renovations will include new heating, cooling and ventilation systems, plumbing and restroom upgrades, a new fire protection system, electrical and technology upgrades, renovated lobbies and finishes upgrades and new furniture.
