April 30 ,1871 Arcade,Wyoming County, New York -June 15 ,1955 ) was an American lawyer and politician fromNew York . He was President pro tempore of the New York State Senate from 1925 to 1931.Life
He was District Attorney of Wyoming County from 1904 to 1912.
He was a Republican member from Wyoming County of the
New York State Assembly from 1913 to 1916. He was a member of theNew York State Senate from 1917 to 1931, and was President pro tempore from 1925 to 1931. He was an alternate delegate to the1924 Republican National Convention and a delegate to the1928 Republican National Convention .On March 30, 1931, he was appointed Federal Judge for the Western Disctrict of New York. He died in office in 1955.
