Alexis Nicole Free (born November 27, 1988) is a Canadian actress and singer-songwriter.

2007-2008 Call Your Name

Free's first single, "All I Got", was released to radio in August 2007 after a hard Summer recording tracks for her debut album and filming a new movie. The single was than released on the "New Girl in School: Motion Picture Soundtrack," and a music video was filmed. In a November 2007 interview, Alexis stated that the single would not be featured on her album. She also stated that the first single from her album would be released in January.

When her single came out on iTunes, critics were very disappointed, saying "All I Got," was much better. This upset Alexis, and she got her producers to mix up the song differently. And on Valentines Day, 2008, she released a better more up-beat version of, "Between You and I." A few days later a video was released exclusively on YouTube. Maple Records later that day got the video taken down and made a statement saying, "The video was unfinished." After months of waiting for the video to release, it premiered on Much Music on the day of Alexis' album release.

The second single, "Wasn't Your Boyfriend," was in the top 10 on the charts for 4 weeks, when it released digitally on iTunes in April. No promotion was taken place for it.

The third single, "Get Back," was released on radio on July 2nd in Canada only. It was later released on July 16th in the U.S and was released on radio and digitally worldwide on July 23rd. On July 24th, Alexis started to film the music video and on August 4th, it premiered online on her official website. The video and single stayed at #1 in the charts for 8 weeks before it got pushed out.

In September, Alexis stated that she is trying to get a fourth single to release, but this didn't happen due to the recording of her new album.

2008-present Everything's Alright

On October 3, Alexis announced that she is currently in the studio recording her sophomore album. She said, "My new album is more personal, I wrote a lot of material for it over the summer." A week later on October 10th, Maple Records stated that Alexis' new album will be entitled, "Everything's Alright," and is set for a Spring 2009 release date.
