Hank worries about a crack in his driveway, while Joseph and Bobby are excited about a "new show" on Fox, the
Daytona 500 , which they can't watch because Hank blocks the Fox network. When Hank arrives for work in the morning, he finds his co-worker Enrique (Danny Trejo ) already there, and Enrique makes Hank uncomfortable by trying to make personal small talk and inviting himself to help fix Hank's driveway.Bobby tries to talk Hank in to unblocking Fox to no avail. Hank is concerned about keeping things with Enrique strictly business, especially when he shows up with rebar for the driveway. Hank thinks that Enrique is looking for a promotion, but he confesses that his marriage is crumbling and he has no one else to confide in, which makes things even more awkward for Hank. At Peggy's insistence, Hank listens to Enrique's problems and tries to encourage him to talk to someone else, but Enrique says his Latino pride means he can't discuss it with his own community.
Bobby and Joseph figure out that Hank's secret password is "propane", and start watching Fox. Peggy invites Enrique in, and he begins treating Hank as his friend, although Hank wants to remain only his boss. Enrique lets it slip at
Strickland Propane that he has visited Hank's house, making Hank's personal information the topic of discussion. When he gets home, Enrique is already there, playingMonopoly with Bobby and Luanne, buying gifts for everyone, and making himself into one of the family. Bill, Dale and Boomhauer are upset at the time Hank is spending with Enrique, and Hank drives Enrique back to his house to make him talk to his angry wife Yolanda and clear things up.As the gang finishes pouring the concrete for the driveway, Yolanda's brothers show up and throw Enrique and his stuff out, and he tells Hank that Yolanda threw him out and he has to stay with the Hills. Hank takes him to a singles apartment complex instead. Bobby and Joseph watch Daytona, initially unimpressed until a huge crash occurs. Hank helps Enrique settle in, letting him know that Enrique's troubles are none of his business, but Enrique shows up pounding on the door in the middle of the night. Hank makes the family ignore his pleas to come inside, until he finally goes back and makes up with Yolanda. The following day, Enrique makes normal office talk with Hank, who proudly tells Peggy that he has no idea how things turned out.
