Vieux Carré Property Owners, Residents, and Associates

Vieux Carré Property Owners, Residents, and Associates (VCPORA) is a pioneer organization in the national historic preservation movement. [http://www.vcpora.org/ VCPORA.org] Based in New Orleans, Louisiana VCPORA was organized in the 1920s and incorporated as a non-profit corporation on June 8, 1938. The membership organization is dedicated to the "preservation, restoration, beautification and general betterment of the Vieux Carré" (also known as the French Quarter).

Affiliate memberships include the National Trust for Historic Preservation, a member of the Louisiana Landmarks Society [http://www.pitothouse.org Louisiana Landmarks Society - Pitot House] , and a member of the Preservation Resource Center of New Orleans [http://www.prcno.org Preservation Resource Center of New Orleans]
