Vieux Carré Property Owners, Residents, and Associates (VCPORA) is a pioneer organization in the national historic preservation movement. [http://www.vcpora.org/ VCPORA.org] Based in
New Orleans, LouisianaVCPORA was organized in the 1920s and incorporated as a non-profit corporation on June 8, 1938. The membership organization is dedicated to the "preservation, restoration, beautification and general betterment of the Vieux Carré" (also known as the French Quarter).
Affiliate memberships include the
