Union of Liberals and Leftists ( _is. Samtök frjálslyndra og vinstri manna) was a left political party in Iceland, founded by Hannibal Valdimarsson and his supporters in 1969. It joined Ólafur Jóhannesson's first government in 1971-1974, with two ministers. It was against the American base in Iceland. Later President of Iceland Ólafur Ragnar Grímsson was a member of this party together with later Foreign Affairs minister Jón Baldvin Hannibalsson.
