Stavros Sarafis is a retired footballer and a profilic goalscorer during the seventies for
PAOK .Sarafis was born in
Epanomi , a small village near Thessalonika, in 1950, and joined PAOK in 1968, and remained with them until retiring in 1980. During his time with the club, Sarafis played 358 league matches with PAOK, and his 136 goals make him the all-time top scorer in the history of the club. He also scored 26 Greek Cup and 8 European Cups goals, 170 goals in total. He mostly played in an attacking midfield position.Sarafis played 32 games for the Greek national side between 1969 and 1977, scoring 7 goals.
