watershed = The Karpovka ( _ru. Карповка) is a small river of theNeva basin inSaint Petersburg ,Russia . It separatesAptekarsky Island (right bank) fromPetrogradsky Island (left bank). The Karpovka flows from theBolshaya Nevka to theMalaya Nevka and is 3 km long. The Russian name is derived from the old Finnish name of the river, "Korpijoki". TheSaint Petersburg Botanical Garden is situated on the right bank of the river.External links
