Hamburger SV as a striker.At the age of 16 he moved from FC St. Pauli to the youth of Hamburg SV. In November 2007, Torun signed a professional contract, but was initially continued in Regionalliga-team.
His first Bundesliga game denied the striker, 23 August 2008, when he against Karlsruher SC in the 89th he made an assist to the winning goal.He has the Turkish and German citizenship, but refused an invitation to play a match for the German U18 national team. For the Turkish U17 team, he has already played several International games.
