Robert Fleischman is an American
musician .He is best known as the former lead singer of the group Journey between the albums "Next" and "Infinity". Robert was with the band for about nine months in 1977, contributing his song writing skills and vocal performances, but never actually recording any albums with the band. He co-wrote one of their biggest hits, "
Wheel in the Sky ", in addition to "Anytime" and "Winds Of March". The only released Journey song featuring his vocals is "For You," which can be found on Journey's box set release: Time3, and on his 1979 solo album "Perfect Stranger". He may have also contributed to the unreleased song "Velvet Curtain", which was later re-written as "Feeling That Way". He performed a song called "Diva" with Journey at the Diamond Head Crater Festival in 1977 (see link below).He has also been part of the band Channel. He appeared with the
Vinnie Vincent Invasion , featuring the ex-KISS guitaristVinnie Vincent , on their self-titled album and later on the unreleased album "Guitars From Hell ".Robert's solo albums to date are; "Perfect Stranger" (1979), "World In Your Eyes" (2002) which was produced by current former Hurricane and current Foreigner singer
