James Kisner

James Kisner

James M. Kisner, Jr. (March 26, 1947 - June 26, 2008) was an American author of short stories and novels, primarily in the Horror genre.

He was born and died in Evansville, Indiana, but spent most of his life in Indianapolis, Indiana. [http://www.legacy.com/CourierPress/Obituaries.asp?Page=Notice&PersonID=112423253] He attended Bosse High School in Evansville and earned a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Arts degree in English at Indiana University. He also published under the pseudonyms Martin James and Eric Flanders.

James Kisner died at his home in Evansville due to accidental carbon monoxide poisoning [http://www.courierpress.com/news/2008/jun/27/27web-monoxide/] . His wife, Phyllis Kisner, age 59, also died in the accident.
