Swimming ACT

Swimming ACT

Swimming ACT is the governing body for competitive swimming in the Australian Capital Territory. Swimming ACT is a branch of Swimming NSW but holds its own ACT Championships. The swimmers swim against each other and swimmers from around NSW in the NSW Championships. Swimming ACT is constituted by 10 swimming clubs which are all registered with Swimming NSW and "Swimming Australia", two of these clubs are not within the ACT but still swim as an ACT club. The Clubs in the ACT all co-operate with each other, developing the relations between their swimmers. Swimming ACT has many helpful volunteers made up of parents, swimming enthusiasts and swimmers themselves. Meets are always held in a friendly but competitive atmosphere.
