Mark Cavagnero Associates

Founded by Mark Cavagnero in 1988, Mark Cavagnero Associates is a San Francisco, California, based architecture firm focused on cultural, education, and civic projects. Since its establishment in 1988, the firm has completed a range of architectural and master planning projects, including large and small scale institutional, non-profit, commercial, and residential projects. The firm provides a full range of services, from programming, master planning, site planning and conceptual design, through construction documents and administration.
The firm's work has garnered numerous awards beginning with San Francisco and California AIA awards in 1997 for the California Palace of the Legion of Honor. Most recently, Mark Cavagnero Associates was named the AIA California Council's 2010 Distinguished Practice for a career of dedication and commitment to the built environment. They are also notable for the designing of the Community School of Music and Arts at Finn Center.^[1]
