The
Ancient Egypt ian artisan Ramose lived inDeir el-Medina on the west bank of theNile , opposite Thebes, during the reigns ofRamesses II . [Rice (1999), p.169] He was buried in a tomb in the village necropolis.Ramose created a total of three tombs for himself in the
