St Agnes RC school

St Agnes RC school

'St Agnes RC' school is a Roman Catholic volunary aided primary school in Crawcrook, Tyne and Wear, United Kingdom. It is a popular and oversubscribed school, larger than average for a village primary school. This is largely due to its excellent performance when compared to other schools in the Gateshead Local Education Authority and nationally. In its last OFSTED inspection report (2007) it was found to be outstanding in the vast majority of areas.

Pupils come largely from the St Agnes parish of Crawcrook, but a significant number also come from the surrounding towns and villages including Ryton, Greenside, Clara Vale, Wylam and Prudhoe.

It is a feeder school of St Thomas More RC in Blaydon.

The current head teacher is Mrs L Hudson
