Vampire fish

Vampire fish is a newly discovered type of fish, that is transparent and only 25 millimeters long. Scientists thinks it feeds on larger fish by swimming into their gills. Scientists do not know yet if it feeds off prey as large as humans. Vampire fish is related to the candiru, a bloodsucking catfish.

Where it was discovered

The Vampire fish was discovered in the Amazon river. It and three other fish where discovered while the filming of a BBC sereis called, "Amazon Aybss". The Vampire fish was discovered in 300 feet of water, that is picth black.

Name?

The fish is such a new discovery that there is not a scientific name for it yet. People are voting for name, and some of which are: Paracanthopoma dracula, Paracanthopoma irritans, Paracanthopoma minuta, Paracanthopoma nosferatu and Paracanthopoma vampyra.
