INID

INID is an acronym for „Internationally agreed Numbers for the Identification of (bibliographic) Data“ [ [http://www.wipo.int/standards/en/pdf/03-09-01.pdf WIPO standard ST.9] ] and is used by the world patent offices for indicating specific parts of bibliographic data of patent and patent application publications on their title pages in a language independent form which uses arabic numbers. For example, number "(30)" indicates priority data, and "(51)" technical area according to the International Patent Classification (IPC). INID codes are standardised by World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) in ST.9.
