(2007)"Sometime Samurai" is a dance–pop song written and performed by Japanese musician Towa Tei and Australian pop singer Kylie Minogue for Tei's album "Flash" (2005). The song was produced by Towa Tei and received a positive reception from music critics. The song was released as the first promotional single in the spring of 2005 and became one of Tei's most successful songs in Japan reaching the top ten on the Tokio Hot 100 radio chart.

"Sometime Samurai" was originally recorded as a demo alongside "" in 1996, but remained unreleased for eight years until Minogue had the opportunity to re-record her vocals in 2004. Before its inclusion on "Flash" the song remained a great mystery to many fans, after having heard of the song in the book "La La La" written by Minogue and William Baker. The song, written about Minogue's then boyfriend, photographer Stéphane Sednaoui, was released in Japan as a radio promotional single to promote the release of "Flash". A music video was also made for the song, but did not feature Minogue.
