Isidore Dollinger

Isidore Dollinger (November 13, 1903 - January 30, 2000) was a Democratic U.S. Congressman from New York between 1949 and 1959.

Dollinger was born in New York City. He graduated from New York University in 1925 and from New York Law School in 1928. He was admitted to the New York state bar in 1929. He served in the New York State Assembly from 1937 until 1944 and in the New York State Senate from 1945 until 1948. Dollinger was elected as a Democrat to the Eighty-first and to the five succeeding Congresses and served from January 3, 1949 until his resignation on December 31, 1959. He was justice of New York Supreme Court, first judicial district from January 1, 1969 until December 31, 1975. Dollinger was a resident of New York City, until his death, on January 30, 2000, in White Plains, New York.
