Marcelo Hugo Herrera (born October 5 1966) is a retired Argentine football midfielder. He currently manages LD Alajuelense in the Costa Rican Primera División.

Herrera played for a number of clubs in Argentina, his most successful spell was spent with Vélez Sársfield, where he won two league titles and two international tournaments. He also played for Miami Fusion in the United States.
