Dr Dheeraj Sharma is an internationally renowned marketing scholar. He has taught at numerous educational institutions including University of North Texas, Louisiana Tech University, Ball State University and Athabasca University.
Dr.Sharma earned his doctoral degree in marketing from the Louisiana Tech University. His primary research interests are behavioral channel theory, goal-directed channel performance, international marketing strategy, personal selling, sales management, and strategy.
Dr. Sharma has been the recipient of many academic and professional awards. He was past Associate Editor of Journal of Marketing Channels and past editor of the Academy of Marketing Science proceedings. Dr. Sharma’s publications have appeared in Advances in Marketing, Developments in Marketing, European Journal of Marketing, Journal of Marketing Channels, Journal of Marketing Education, Journal of Personal Selling and Sales Management, Journal of Business Research, Journal of Product and Brand Management, Journal of International Business Strategy, Marketing Management Journal, and Review of Business Research and the Proceedings of the American Marketing Association Educators’ Conference, Proceedings of the Academy of Marketing Science’s Annual Conference, Proceedings of the World Marketing Congress and Proceedings of National Conference of Sales Management among other prominent publications.
As a student Dr Sharma was a American Marketing Association Doctoral Consortium Fellow, Robert Toulouse doctoral Fellow and Graduate School Doctoral Fellow. He is an active member of the Academy of Marketing Science, American Marketing Association, and National Conference of Sales Management.
