"Blood Romance" is the ultimate love story between two young men, a normal human 18-year-old boy and a 500-year-old vampire trapped in the body of a 19-year-old. Davis Johnson begins his college life and instantly gets attracted to Ben Vampyr, a fellow student in Collin Field Community College. After a few run-ins, Ben admits to his sister that he also likes Davis. One night, Davis walks home from a party and gets ambushed by a newborn vampire. Ben appears just in time and saves Davis thus killing the vampire. Ben notices that Davis was knocked unconscious and ends up not remembering who saved him. Davis spends the next few weeks trying to figure out who saved him until he meets Misty Walker. Misty, a secretive witch, confides in Davis that she knows that Ben is not normal. Together, they place a trap and discover that Ben is a vampire. Once comfronting him, Davis declares his love for Ben, noticing he fell hard for a guy he doesn't even know. Ben decides to go against his parents' wishes and decides to start a relationship with Davis. Ben and Davis soon realize how much in common they have, and Ben finally decides to come clean about his family and his vampiric nature. Once realizing that they're in love, Ben decides it's time to introduce Davis to his family. Mr. Oliver Vampyr decides that a human boy is not going to be accepted in the Vampyr residence and expresses his desire for Ben to end his relationship with Davis at once. Davis leaves hurt and in the process becomes friends with Milly, Ben's sister. Together, all three of them fight for Mr. Oliver's acceptance of Davis, but ultimately fail. Ben realizes that he doesn't care what he says, as he loves Davis like no one else in his lifetime. Timothy "Timmy" Locke, Ben's ex-boyfriend, returns to Collin Field after a 200-year absence. While learning of how Ben and his "family" became vampires and got together, Timmy decides to pay a visit to his old lover. Timmy meets Davis and becomes attracted to him instantly. After a few run-ins, Davis finally decides to tell Timmy that he is in love with Ben and nothing will make him change his mind. Knowing of Timmy's double personality disorders, Ben decides to protect Davis from him at all cost. Timmy decides that if he's going to get what he wants, then he needs to get Ben out of the picture. Chloe Vampyr, Ben's mother, decides that the family should join forces in order to protect Davis from Timmy. Timmy decides to release his past mentor, the ancient vampire Marius, on Collin Field. Ben and his family join forces and keep Marius at bay while Timmy creeps up on Davis. While Ben and his family have a final showdown with Marius, Timmy kidnaps Davis and decides to get married with him in a dark vampire ceremony. Once rid of Marius, Ben finds Davis just in time before getting married to Timmy and uses his superhuman strenght to finally kill his past vampire boyfriend. Davis returns with Ben and once in Ben's house, Mr. Oliver decides to accept Davis as his son's boyfriend. On that same night in Davis' home, he and Ben discover that their love won't be defeated by anything supernatural and decide to take their relationship to the next level. As they begin getting intimate, Davis' mother, Gabrielle, walks in on them.
