Henry Rupert James Charlwood (19 December 1846 in Horsham, Sussex6 June 1888 in Scarborough, Yorkshire) played cricket professionally for England in the first two Test matches ever played, which were against Australia in 1877. Charlwood was a top order batsman and occasional lob bowler.
