Eric Frimpong (born December 14, 1985 in Sunyani) is a Ghanaian football striker who currently plays for Enyimba.

Trivia

Attended St. James Seminary where he was a three-year letterwinner...Played midfield for the Saints, scoring 18 goals and tallying 10 assists. Won the Sports Perfect Award his final year and won a Inter-College Athletics bronze medal. Enters his senior year at UCSB as a mathematics major, aspires to play professionally and excel academically. Was the recipient of the Golden Boot Award and was named tournament MVP of the West African University Games playing for Kwami Nkrumah University of Science and Technology...Netted eight goals and tallied five assists at the WAUG. Lists winning both the MVP and Golden Boot Shields at the WAUG Games as his most memorable moment in sports. In 2005 made an immediate influence in the midfield during his first year as a Gaucho and was one of only three players to appear in all 21 of UCSB¹s matches. 2006 signed with the Kansas City Wizards, a Major League Soccer team. Following the rape charges, however, Frimpong was no longer signed with the team.
