Intermidiate Depression

The Intermidiate Depression, Longitudnal Valley or Central Valley is a landform and geomorphological unit in Chile located as a elongated strip between the Chilean Coast Range and the Andes. Geologically it correponds to a forelandbulge created by lithospheric flexure caused by the Andes.
