- Janis Spindel
Janis Spindel is a New York based matchmaker. In an interview on CBS' 60 minutes, she stated that she has a knack for match making and that ninety percent of her clients end up getting married with the match she selects. Her fees run over $25,000 and she accepts male clients only including affluent celebrities, bankers, lawyers, and the like. When approached by a male client, she "shops" for potential female spouses in department stores approaching the "right" candidate. She stated that she has never been rejected by a women she approached, for even when they are not interested in a relationship, they have friends or sisters who are. If her client ends up marrying the girl she selects, she collects a marriage bonus such as money or a jaguar brand car.
