Opening narration

Plot

Andrea Collins one-way-timetravels from an unmentioned time to April 28, 1889 to Braunau in Austria and becomes, two days early of the real one, housekeeper of family Hitler. Her plan is to kill baby Adolf who otherwise would cause as an adult the death of 60 million people. After some failed attempts due to disruptions or her own unability to kill a baby, she finally manages to fulfill her plan by stealing the child and jumping into a river with it. However, Mrs. Hitler, who followed Andrea Collins, manages to buy the baby of a homeless woman and return home with nobody else noticing the change. The closing narration points out that she couldn't change history.

In a scene, after being unable to kill the baby, Collins is in the church to confess. She tells the father that someone in the city would cause death to 60 million people and she'll kill him, to which the father replies that nobody knows the future but even if it is true, only God has the right to kill that person.
