Last student standing

AfDM|page=Last student standing|date=2008 October 9|substed=yes Last student standing began as a contest put on by WFLY in which college students vied for a Kia Sophia by being the last student remaining in the vehicle over the course of the summer. The contest has since evolved and the prize has grown throughout the years. In the Summer of 2005 the contestants were forced to live on a school us in the parking lot of the Wilton Mall. The winner, Old Lady Jenne, won $10,000 in tuition. The format of the contest remained the same as the prized grew until the summer of 2008 when the format was irreversibly changed and WFLY gave away the biggest prize in the station's history.

2008 format

In the summer of 2008 WFLY changed the format of their beloved contest from the month long, last man standing, torture experience aboard a school bus, to a "Reality Radio" format. The Contest was modeled after CBS's Big Brother (TV series) and
CBS's Survivor (U.S. TV series).
