Bobby "Boogaloo" Watts (
November 11 ,1941 ) is an American bornmiddleweight boxer who fought primarily in the mid-1970s. Born in Sumpter,South Carolina , Bobby Watts came to Philadelphia at age 10 and began boxing at the urging of his cousin, future heavyweight contender Jimmy Young.Watts was a top contender, and by many accounts, one of the most skilled of the 1970s Philadelphia middleweights. "Boogaloo" is most famously known for defeating "Marvelous"
Marvin Hagler , scoring a controversial 10-round majority decision onJanuary 13 ,1976 , at The Spectrum in Philadelphia.He finished his career with a record of 38 wins (20 KOs), 7 losses and 1 draw. After his boxing career ended in
