Gunnlaugur Lárusson

Electric guitarist Gunnlaugur (Gulli) Lárusson (1976) was born and raised in the rural town Dalvík in the northern part of Iceland. He moved to Akureyri in 1992 and from there to Reykjavík in 1995 and has lived there since.

Gunnlaugur has taken part in some of Iceland's most notable rock bands. He co-founded the Stoner / Desert rock band Brain Police in October 1998. Gunnlaugur left the band in January 2005. In March 2005 he joined Lights on the Highway as their second guitarist.

He makes electronic music as the Alter-ego Commander.
