Jay-R is a Filipino Singer, Actor and Model.

He is the so-called "RNB Prince" of the Philippine Television. He is a mainstay of famous Musical Variety Show SOP.

He is also known as one of famous and hot model of Bench Clothing Company. As he models underwears.

Private Life

Though he has been having fun with acting, you can catch him at Love to Love: Haunted Love House. Jay-R is a musician through and through. Not content with the success of his album, he plans on establishing his own recording company. Together with his friends, he plans to help other artists crack their way onto the music scene. Jay-R is the most promising male RnB phenomenon that ever hit the local music scene.

Gaudencio A. Sillona III, popularly known as Jay-R, was born and raised in Los Angeles, California on February 1, 1981. He was 2nd year college, taking up Computer Engineering, in Devry University in L.A. when he decided to go here and fulfill his dream… to become a singer.

He was once a part of a group named FI (First Impression). The group consisted of 5 guys namely: Mike Gabriel, Alex Bacani, Jayr Sillona, Jimmy Martinez (who came with Jay-R to Manila) and Owen Amurao. When Mike, Owen and Alex went their separate ways, Jay-R and Jimmy continued the group by adding another talented singer named Kris Cadevida. They would do gigs in Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Michigan.

Jay-R also belonged to a band that was lead by his Uncle, Robert Sillona. The band was called The Howlers. Being part of his uncle’s band was a huge part in Jay-R’s career… it taught him the ways of the stage!

Jay-R is a mainstay host and singer on Musical Variety Show SOP. He's main portion of the show is called "Souled Out" opposite his famous singer duet Kyla.

Jay-R also starred on other GMA Network programs like Love to Love which he also sung the series theme song.

Jay-R is included as one of the guest stars of Philippine TV Remake of LaLola (Philippine TV series) to be included in primetime via GMA Telebabad block.
