The company's CEO is Paul Komarek, the fourth generation grandson of the original founder, b.1981, from San Jose, California.

In 2006, Komárek & Associates moved to Silicon Valley (San Jose), California from Cleveland, Ohio. Komárek & Associates is a licensed tax practice as well as a bookkeeping and financial management firm. It also operates one of the largest privately run QuickBooks training schools in the San Francisco Bay Area.
