(English translation: Who wants to be a millionaire?) is an Italian game show based on the original British format of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? and Chi vuol essere miliardario?, a show broadcast in Italy from 2000 to 2001. It is shown on the Italian television station Canale 5. The show is hosted by Gerry Scotti. The objective of the game is to win €1 million by answering 15 multiple-choice questions correctly. Gerry Scotti in May 2011 has got a Guinness World Record for the most presented episodes adaptions of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?.

Rules
There are three lifelines - Fifty Fifty (cinquanta e cinquanta), Phone A Friend (telefonata a casa), and Ask The Audience (aiuto del pubblico). A fourth lifeline, Switch The Question (switch, this lifeline was unlocked after a player wins €3,000) was also used for a limited time, but has been discarded. When a contestant gets the fifth question correct, he leaves with at least €3,000. When a contestant gets the tenth question correct, he leaves with at least €20,000.
