- Roger-Arnould Rivière
Roger-Arnould Rivière (1930,
Tarare , Rhône - 1959,Lyon ) was a Frenchpoet . Despite not being unpopular among other people, he was disgusted with his looks (especially lips). His poetry both shows and hides this "ugliness". He was an admirer ofDylan Thomas and alsoCesare Pavese , whose book he held in his hand when he commited suicide by poisoning himself with gas. [col. "Bytosti schopné zemřít, p. 131"]Books
