Televiziunea Romana (TVR) in 2009, who will choose this years entry for the Eurovision Song Contest 2009 through an internal selection. The date of the participant is to be announced and as of yet,rumoured to be held in early February 2009.Position in the Contest
Romania is not one of the "Big Four" or the host of this years contest,so will have to complete in the semifinals,according to this years rules.
