Ian Cussick (born
17 June 1954 ) is asinger-songwriter fromDundee, Scotland . After leaving school at the age of fifteen, Cussick formed several local bands, with moderate success. In 1973, he answered an advertisement in "Melody Maker " for a "singer wanted", and flew to Germany to work with the popular showband Lake.Fact|date=April 2008 Two years later, he was a member of Linda and the Funky Boys, who scored a hit with the early disco song "Shame Shame Shame", which sold around five million singles.Fact|date=April 2008 Ian Cussick went on to record ten solo albums over a period of twenty years, landing a multi-million seller with his composition "Meet me By The Water".Fact|date=April 2008 He also worked extensively on other productions, including "RAM Pietsch - Norwegian Wood" which featured theMunich Symphony Orchestra , and the vocalistsDan McCafferty ,Mary Hopkin , andMaggie Reilly . At present, Ian Cussick is concentrating on song writing, and running a record & publishing company based in Europe, with distribution worldwide.Now he is writing a new CD with three Song's, he is making a Song for "The Power Boat Racing" in Germany and a Ballade for Harley-Davidson Drivers there like to get married. And the new POP Song is "Love Communication", there is a typical Ian Cussick Song.
