Founded in 1991, Bazis International or Bazis-A Corporation is a building development and architectural company based in Almaty, Kazakhstan. The company currently has significant projects operating in Kazakhstan and Toronto, Canada.
The company's endeavours include residential communities, office towers, government buildings, hotels, apartments, theatres, shopping malls, and industrial complexes, including Canada's tallest residential structure, 1 Bloor. The company also has significant interests in Russia and Thailand.
Bazis International also operates the Bazis Design institute, and employs over 13,000 people. Its Canadian office is located in Concord, Ontario.
