Brad Hanson

Since 2002, he has been also a councilman for the city of Palmer, Alaska, being re-elected in 2005. Living in Glennallen at first, his family moved to Palmer when he was six. Hanson is educated at Northern Arizona University and the University of Alaska Anchorage. He holds a bachelor’s degree in finance, and also has a master's degree in business administration.

Hanson gained national notoriety after it became known that the National Enquirer alleged he had an affair with Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin.
