Vas Vujacić (born 25th February 1980 in Perth, Western Australia) is a semi-professional Australian soccer player of Montenegrin descent. He currently is the Goalkeeper for Australian club Floreat Athena.

Club career

Vujacić had a brief stint in Adelaide with Adelaide City in the SAPL, but home-sickness left him yearning for his hometown. Returning to the WAPL, Vujacić re-joined Floreat Athena where he enjoyed a successful 2007 undefeated league campaign with the club.

Futsal

Vujacić also fancies himself as an outfield player in futsal. Fancy footwork with two capable feet are a trademark of the talented young man when representing WA in the national futsal championships. The same "fancy footwork" has also led to the odd embarrassing moment for the keeper when keeping goals for Floreat Athena.

Work

The multi-skilled Vujacić is also a modern patio designer/builder in Western Australia. His progression in this field is hampered by his excessive sleeping habits which has led to many a late arrivals to jobs, as well as his Floreat Athena commitments. This, combined with his afternoon siesta's limits his working days to no more than 5 hours of labour a day.

Poker

It has to be said, Vujacić's main passion is poker. He has logged endless hours at the Texas Hold'em tables that he hopes will one day lead him to a professional career and join the World Poker Tour.

Cricket

Vujacić is a hidden cricketing talent. Playing school-boy cricket along with some eager backyard duals with his brother mik, Vas rather quickly found out that a ball in the back of a net is less painful than a ball in the sack. As a batsman his offside defence is rock solid. Able to weild the willow with zero timing staggers the most ardent cricket followers. Puts his body on the line when in the nets and is confident enough to bat without the need of a protective box.
