Hiram High School

Hiram High School was originally established in 1925. The following year the school closed and merged with Paulding County High School. In 1999 the school was re-established and now is located on ballentine Drive off of Bill Caruth road. Of course Hiram is a four year shcool with grades nine through twelve. The vision statement at Hiram High School is "We have made and will continue to make a difference." This school also states that they set high expectations and for academic and personal growth based on there curriculum. Hiram offers the following technical courses: Business Education, Automotive Technology, Pre-Engineering, Family & Consumer Science, Healthcare Science Technology, Cosmetology, JROTC, Public Safety, and Teaching. Also they offer a variety of workbased classes to give students the opportunity to leave school, and go to work these classes are as followed:Youth Apprenticeship, Cooperative Business Education (CBE), and Diversified Cooperative Training (DCT). Hiram also offers advanced classes(AP)such as:US History, World History, Government, Biology, Calculus, English Literature, and Psychology. These honors courses are offered in all subjects, ten points are added to the final grade if they are successfully completed. Five points are added to all final grades if the student is in a honors class and successfully completes the course. Hiram also offers a variety of sports such as, baseball, football, track, soccer, wrestling, volleyball and softball. This school also offers a variety of clubs/orginizations such as:National Art Society, Beta Club, Boyz to Men, Conservation and Ecology, Diversity Club, Fit Club, French Honor Society, Future Buisness Leaders of America, Girlfriends, Guitar Club and many more.
