Polina Leschenko (
Leningrad , 1981) is a naturalisedIsrael i pianist, having left Russia in 1991.She debuted at the age of 12 at the
Barbican Hall . After graduating at Brussels' Royal Conservatory and reaching the XIII Paloma O'Shea Competition (where she was awarded a grant-prize)'s finals, she started her concert career. She's active too as a chamber musician, and has took part in recordings ofRobert Schumann 's violin sonatas andSergey Prokofiev 's chamber music.She was one of the promising pianists featured in the
