Multi trigger digital delay generator

Multi-trigger digital delay generator

This subset of digital delay generators, see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Digital_delay_generator, differs significantly from standard digital delay generators. By having multiple triggers, a single instrument functions as several individual digital delay generators each with its output synchronized to its own trigger.

Some multi-trigger digital delay generators, combine the properties of a digital delay generator with a programmable logic controller. For a N channel unit, the N outputs and N inputs can be logically combined by Negating, Or'ing, And'ing and Xor'ing to control experiments requiring interlocks, latches, and complex funtionality. In this way the multi-trigger digital delay generator can provide integration and control of complex physical experiments as well as be an N individual digital delay generators.
