Tribe Club

Tribe Club

The Tribe Club is a group that was established in 1948 to create support for the College of William & Mary Athletics. Retrieved on September 23, 2008.] Due to the fact that William & Mary receives no aid from the state for its sports programs, the Tribe Club is the sole provider of scholarships for their student athletes. Additionally, money raised annually by the Tribe Club helps defray a portion of the operating expenses for program support.

Members include former William & Mary student-athletes, alumni, Tribe parents and general fans not specifically affiliated with the College. Past donations have also helped build or improve athletic facilities, such as Kaplan Arena, Zable Stadium and the Jimmye Laycock Football Center.
